This 12V 20A model lithium battery charger operates from mains power AC 200-264V as input, supplying up to a 20A charging output suitable for nominal 12V LiFePO4 batteries. The charger's built-in protection technology provides protection against Over Voltage and Over Current output, Short Circuit and Reverse Polarity.
This Ardent 12V 20A AC charger is designed for lithium batteries (LifePO4 Battery). The charger has a 3-stage intelligent charging design (CC/CV/trickle) to ensure it charges the lithium battery quickly and efficiently. This battery charger has 5-layer protection functions to realize comprehensive monitoring and protection of the battery. This charger is suitable for RVs, motorbikes, boats, and camper-van.
The charger’s indicator light illustrates the connected battery's operating mode and condition. Red light means that it is charging and green light reveals a full charge. This is a low noise charger, so no annoying noise while it is working.

Over Voltage Protection - When the charger output voltage exceeds the maximum charging voltage, the charger enters a standby state. It will restore to normal working conditions automatically after troubleshooting.
Over Current Protection - When the charger output current exceeds the maximum charging current, the charger enters a standby state. It will restore to normal working conditions automatically after troubleshooting.
Short Circuit Protection - When the charger detects a short circuit at output terminals, the charger enters a short-circuit protection state. It will restore to normal working conditions automatically after troubleshooting.
Reverse Polarity Protection - When the charger detects that the polarity at the output terminals are reversed, the charger enters a reverse polarity protection state. It will restore to normal working conditions automatically after troubleshooting.

Ardent 12V 20A Lithium LiFePO4 Battery Charger
For a 12V system, we really want to emphasize reaching 14.2V – 14.6V for bulk and absorption and float to be 13.6V or lower.
12V Deep Cycle batteries, you should set your charger profile to charge up to 14.6 volts for 30 minutes and then float charge at 13.6 volts. For a 12V system, we really want to emphasize reaching 14.2V – 14.6V for bulk and absorption and float to be 13.8V or lower. That means a 12-volt lithium battery will boast a normal maximum voltage of 13.6 volts when fully charged. And even after discharging 10% of their nominal capacity, they still have 13.4 volts at resting voltage (a loss of only 0.2 volts). ***Note that all 12V batteries above 12Ah, configured in Series, must be charged individually with a 12V charger.
