The Giant Power 170Ah Lithium (LiFePO4) Deep Cycle Battery is designed for 12V power applications including camping, caravans, RVs, 4WDs, marine use, and off-grid solar systems.
This battery uses prismatic LiFePO4 cells and includes an integrated 100A Battery Management System (BMS) to manage charge and discharge, protect against overcurrent, and support safe operation. The unit is IEC62619 compliant and built for reliable performance in a range of environments.
A 170Ah (Amp-hour) battery measures total energy capacity, while amps measure the instantaneous current draw. Theoretically, a 170Ah battery provides 170 amps for 1 hour, or 17 amps for 10 hours.
