150A Solar Watt Meter (includes bonus 2x anderson plugs)
WAS $54.00
Do you want to know exactly how much power your solar panel is producing? It's often been difficult to measure this without special equipment or expert knowledge. However, our Watt & Power Meter is a simple yet extremely handy device that gives a digital display of exactly how much charge your panels are actually producing. This Watt Meter is easily installed and provides you with all the key ratings of your solar panels in real-time. This is a perfect companion to our range of Portable Solar Panels, but can be used with any type of solar panel setup. Installation is so easy as our Watt Meter has two Anderson plugs, and is installed in-line between your solar regulator and batteries/load. Simply connect the solar panel regulator's output to the labelled "source" side of the watt meter, and connect the battery/load cabling to the "load" side. Once there is power flowing through the Watt Meter, the device will initialise and show you a full range of ratings including:
Our Solar Watt Meter only requires a tiny 7mA draw to operate, so there will be no significant reduction in your power production during usage. This Watt Meter is especially useful to measure the power consumption of your 12volt fridge over time, say for a 24-hour period, as the fridge cycles on and off to maintain a set temperature. A Watt Meter can also be used to monitor the output of your solar panel over the course of a day. Aussie Batteries and Solar are experts in Watt Meters and ours have been custom assembled to include 50 Amp Anderson plugs, ideal for the 4WD and Camping and Caravanning enthusiast. The Anderson plugs are installed at our factory and you can leave them installed, or if you would like a modification give us a call and speak to us about installing a connector of your choice. These Watt Meters can also be hard-wired into a vehicle or camper trailer. Why not speak to us about what configurations will work for you as we are happy to customise for your needs.
